Answer
If you're talking about still cameras, the duration of video you take depends upon how much storage and spare batteries you have. If you want to, you can swap memory cards if one gets full. Its pointless to have a compact camera which more than 10 mega-pixel. Or otherwise the cameras are going to output noisy image if you're not in a well lit scene. You should focus more on the general quality of the images being output and low-light performance rather than mega-pixel count. Anyway, the following are my recommendations where some of them slightly exceed your budget:

If you need a waterproof camera for rare occasions, and don't mind about hazy image, just plop any camera into a resealable plastic bag to make it waterproof. Otherwise, you'll need to increase you budget, if you want to buy a good waterproof camera.

Can yo help me with my iPod Touch and camera problem?
Lady Yanke
PLEASE HELP ME! Answer these questions in order please. 10 points for best answer.
1)Does the iPod Touch have a camera installed in it?
2)Do you have to have internet to use the app 'Youtube' in your iPod Touch?
3)I need a camera. I want one that is waterproof, can store up to at least 800 photos and over 10 hours of motion picture. Can you just describe a nice waterproof camera to take on the go (like water parks and beaches) that has motion picture (video) and holds up to 800 or 500 or more pictures?
I have never had a camera before except when I was a preteen but then it broke...
