Answer
It sounds like you're going to have a great cruise! I had the same question when I booked my first cruise as well, and experience has taught me that packing for a cruise to ANY destination is not as simple as it seems.

First off, you're going to need your passport, since you will be visiting locations outside of the United States. I know that it kind of obvious, but it is one of the most important items that you will need.

Second, stock up on sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and protection against UVA and UVB rays. You'll save money by bringing your own supply; the ships and island stores also sell sunscreen, but it is much more expensive. It might be a good idea to bring some aloe vera in case you get a sunburn, as well. Bring a hat and some sunglasses to protect your head and eyes from the sun.

Third, you will need to pack multiple swimsuits. It is a good idea to bring a one piece or sporty tankini for athletic activities or excursions, but bikinis are fine for lounging by the pool or hanging out on the beach. Plus, you'll have a back up suit just in case.

If you're serious about snorkeling or scuba-diving, bring your own equipment. Rental masks often fit poorly, letting in water or fogging up. Your own mask will fit you just right.

Bring a camera so that you can capture every part of your experience. It might be a good idea to get a waterproof one.

Pack a drawstring backpack or a tote bag to carry what you need for your daily activities.

Bring a range of sizes of Ziploc bags. Small ones are ideal for holding pills, jewelry, hair accessories, foreign currencies and other petite items. The medium size can protect cameras, phones, iPods, etc. in wet environments. You can also fill them with loose snacks, such as trail mix or crackers or use them as trash bags while you are out and about.

Make sure that you bring an umbrella and a jacket in case of cold or rainy weather. They are always good to have.

Bring something for motion sickness or sea sickness, even if you don't think you will experience it while on your cruise.

Check the dress code for your ship and pack clothes accordingly. Some ships require more formal attire for dinner than shorts and a t-shirt.

Make a photo copy of all of your insurance cards, credit cards, identification, passport, etc. in case your wallet is stolen.

There are some other things that you may want to pack as well, but this pretty much covers the basics. I hope this will help you in some way! You'll have a blast on your cruise!

The total list of things i need to pack for this cruise?
