A camera that will take great pictures for around $250 or less?

If that's possible. I know some camera's normal photos turn out to look like they have an orange tint, and I'm looking a digital one that will take strong clear pictures. Or if you know of a cheap underwater camera, which I doubt is possible.

Olympus has a series of cameras called "tough" that are no only waterproof, but can sustain falls and dust better than a standard P&S cameras.

The reason some cameras record images with an orange tint is because the user is not setting their cameras white balance to match the incandescent light that is illuminating their subject.

The part about a camera taking great photos? That is up to the operator. You have to take the time to learn how use the camera and its features as well as how to compose your great shots.

what is a good camera for a rafting trip?

i am going on a grand canyon rafting trip and i want to bring a camera that can take video and pictures. i don't want to spend a fortune either.
also idon't want it to be too heavy, but i don't want it too small.
i really wanted the flip camera but i just found out i cant take pictures with it!
basically what i need is a camera that is
good to travel with
not too big but not too small
good quality
i hope there is something out there

The Pentax W90 is rugged and waterproof, ideal for situations where there is lots of water splashing about, or even ending up in the water.
