Hey , im new to photography... I need some advice on choosing the right camera for me. I'll start off by saying my budget is $300. I'll be using it mostly for taking pictures of me and my gf, mostly leisure probably be using video on it too. I'd prefer something that can go underwater hopefully. Anyways that is basically all i need a camera for, what do you guys suggest? I have a future shop near me and i think they have some variety of cameras to choose from. So what suits my needs for $300 or less?

Answer
I would suggestion these good underwater cameras and inexpensive :

Canon PowerShot D10 : 12.1MP, 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom, 2.5-inch LCD, Waterproof to 33 feet, Face Detection Technology plus Face Detection Self-timer

How can I fix photos that didnât develop properly?

I recently went on a family trip to an indoor water park. I did not want to get my digital camera ruined so I brought one of those disposable waterproof cameras. We took priceless shots of my three kids having a blast. Unfortunately when we had the film developed from Walgreenâs none of the pictures took. There was no flash on the camera so I am assuming that is why. You can barely make out the images in some of the photos. They are either extremely grainy or so dark you canât see anything. I want these photoâs sooooooo bad. Is there any software that I can buy that can fix them? I brought the Walgreenâs photo disk so I have all the images on my computer.

Answer
there is unfortunately not a lot you can do once the film is developed... there simply isn't enough light there to make an image from..

you can try using photo shop to lighten the image but that is not likely to work well.. in the future... if you know you took film pictures with no flash use a custom developer not wall mart and ask them to push the film.
