waterproof digital camera nikon coolpix image
I am 13 and want to start taking pics of what my friends and I do Etc.... We live near a lake so preferably a waterproof camera to take tubing and jet skiing. My price range is about $200 give or take. Thanks in advance!!!

Look at the Nikon Coolpix S31 (the newest) or the S30

I want a digital camera for Christmas because mine broke. what are some good cameras. I want one that is small, takes pictures fast and has good zoom.

Whats good zoom? The Canon XS110 and XS10 have 18x zoom, most cameras have 4x or maybe 6x zoom. The Canon SD models are good cameras, the best being the SD 950 (990 is not worth the extra money), and the worst is probably the SD1100, but its also really cheap and simple if thats what you are looking for. The Olympus stylus SW1050 is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, and cold proof if you think you might take advantage of any of those features. Nikon also has their Coolpix line which is popular, the S series are mid range and the P series are higher range. All in all, if you spend between 200-300 on a Nikon or Canon point and shoot you cant go wrong. Stay away from really cheap brands like HP.
