What is the best waterproof digital camera on the market?

Must be $200-$400 and have video. I am going to the Virgin Islands in 2 weeks and will be doing a lot of snorkeling. I want a camera that is good for regular use but will hold up to extended exposure to water.

Check out the Olympus Stylus 850SW. Waterproof to 10 feet and shockproof to a 5 foot drop. Its an 8mp camera. $299

The 1030SW is waterproof to 33 feet and shockproof to a 6.6 foot drop. It has 10.1mp. Its also crushproof to 220 pounds. $399

She is going with her spanish teacher and they will be snorkeling and i would love for her to be able to video that and also take stills on the 10 day trip. Any input would be appreciated.

I recently got this camera in green and i love it! it is capable of going underwater (up to ten feet) and can take videos and pictures in or out of water.... great quality pictures too. I am 14 and my mom got this for me because we always go snorkeling in the bahammas and other tropical places. Its a very low price for what you get out of it too!
