I have a waterproof camera that says it can go down 33 feet.... i'm going scuba diving and will be going anywhere from 40-90 feet. Can i bring it deeper than it says?? what will happen if i do??
Answer
It's your camera. You can do what you like. If you want to push the limits and risk ruining it, go ahead. I personally wouldn't, but it's your dollar. Have fun.

I want a camera that can take high quality photos but is waterproof. I'm not planning to go scuba diving with it but i do want to take photos at the beach/in the pool.
I don't care about price i just want the best.
also i would like personal experience with the camera if possible - i no go pro has heaps of ads but their cameras are like 5mp...

Check out for Canon PowerShot D20 12.1 MP CMOS Waterproof Digital Camera
* Overall image quality is good. Considering the conditions in which you can shoot with this (wet, cold, hot, dusty, etc.), I'd rate image quality as very good.
* Low-light performance. Most of the underwater pictures I've shot were in the pool in the evening with no direct sunlight. Given the lighting conditions, the images far exceed a typical point-and-shoot. Considering they were shot underwater (taking away quite a bit more light), the increased challenges of automatic focusing, etc. and I'd rate the image quality fantastic.
