The Fisher Price Kid Tough Camera is waterproof, but NOT meant for underwater use. It only means that if a child spills something on it, it won't get ruined. I was told this by Fisher Price when I recently called them about questions regarding this camera.

I don't want one of those really expensive kinds, just one that will be good in the pool. Also, I don't want a disposable one. I'm looking for one that's around $30. Is there one that takes good pictures in that price range?

To get a camera that is <$30 and not disposable (and not a camera made for little kids) is basically impossible, especially if you want one with any quality whatsoever. I recommend buying a waterproof camera case instead (not the expensive kind, I explain later which kind you should get) for the camera model you already have. If you don't already have a camera, I highly recommend the Canon SD1200, because it is small, takes amazing pictures, is incredibly sturdy, and all at a low price. If you want to spend a little more money, the update on the 1200, the Canon SD1400, is even better. I have a DicaPac case for my camera that works very well (even though it looks like it might not), and it is <$30, and the price depends on the camera model you have. Just look up on amazon "dicapac waterproof camera case canon sd1200 (or whatever the name of your camera is)"
