Good quality waterproof camera?

Im going on a mission trip to a childrens home in honduras, this is my second year and im wanting to get a good camera to get more pictures of my babies this year(: we go swimming in rivers and lagoons alot and i just worry carrying a regular didgital camera around in such a rough enviroment. I want a sturdy digital camera that still takes good quality pictures, not blurry an dull(: does anyone have any information or reccomendations?

Would you be open to considering a waterproof digital camcorder rather than a waterproof digital camera? Reason being, I actually just bought this Sanyo waterproof camcorder, http://www.digitalimaginghq.com/sanyo-vpcwh1bl-blue-hd-waterproof-flash-memory-digital-camcorder.html for a few trips that I have planned this summer. I've only used it a few times, but I have used it during a recent canoe trip and it took very great video, but also does allow you to take still shocks. It may be work considering since you mentioned you were looking for something, waterproof and durables, as it sure help up during our camping trip where we were in an out of the waters and our boats. Hope this suggestion helps!

Waterproof HD digital camera?

soo i need a new camera, i used to have a pentax optio....something, lol, but it accidentally got pushed into a lake...so i need a new one and i have been looking for a while and found what seems to be a really good one (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cyber-Shot-DSC-TX10-Waterproof-Panorama/dp/B004H8FNGM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1309493106&sr=1-1) but the entire back is a touchscreen, and i'd rather not have a touchscreen camera, i just feel like it'd get scratched up and stuff.. so i desperately need help finding a new one! i have some things i need and want for it and if u know a camera that fits these please tell me! thanks! :)

Needs:
-waterproof
-HD video (preferably highest quality of HD which i think is 1080?)
-reallyy good quality of pictures
-not too expensive (my last one was $300 something, which is kinda expensive but its okayy i guess...)

Really Want:
-burst shooting
-interval shooting (take a # of pic's every # of sec.)
-sports mode and other helpful settings
-preferably not a touchscreen
-preferably the lens is inside the camera...which i think it has to be since its waterproof...
-panorama
-soft skin mode? (never had it before but it seems nice lol)

i feel like there was more...but i can't think of it now. but if u know of any that have these that'd be amazing! thank you! :)

gopro does all that, small camera, comes with multiple mounts, but it's a fixed f/l fisheye and there's no screen in the basic version
(well, HD video, interval shooting, waterproof, not touchscreen..)
