Help please. I'll be buying underwater camera on October. and I wanna research a lot before I buy underwater camera. It can be point and shoot or dslr. Thank you.

olympus makes housing for all theirs
ikelite housings are cheap price for dslrs
your going to need a strobe to go with it, so factor that price in

just a underwater camera or a camera you want to use underwater but also land?

An underwater housing for a DSLR generally runs about $1000.
A combination that could fit your budget is the Canon G11 and the Canon WP-DC34 housing. Bhphoto.com or adorama.com should carry it. I don't know whether the weight set is included or has to be ordered separately. It will have too much buoyancy for diving without the weight.
