im about to purchase a waterproof digital camera and need some help on deciding which to buy! i've narrowed my search down to three cameras. The Canon d10 the Sony tx5 or the Panasonic TS2. Please help! I'm going soon and want to make the best purchase. I want a great reliable camera to take to the beach every week that takes great video, action shots and good battery life!

The best way to decide on image quality is to look at what people do with them in the camera's flickr groups.

Hi all, I want to take underwater photos, and the waterproof digital cameras I have seen so far only have digital zoom. Are they available with optical zoom?

Both Pentax and Olympus make underwater cameras with optical zoom.

Try the Pentax Optio W30 or Olympus 1030 SW (or the older 790 SW).
