Looking for a new point and shoot digital camera. I have a couple of important specifications.?
I want:
-high MP
-large LCD
-small, compact body
-either waterproofing (won't be going deeper than 10 feet)
-or easy availability of waterproof housing
-easy usage--i'm seventeen and pretty decent with electronics, but would like to keep it relatively simple
and it would preferably be cool-looking. maybe available in multiple colors? but that's really not as important.
Answer
I also like the Olympus Stylus 6000 for the money, but why not choose for yourself from the experts at digital photography review buyer's guide? I don't work for them! When you go to their site, fill in some of the above on their checklist and they give you a relevant list.
Go for a water resistant camera. Housings are very expensive and clunky. If you're not going deep it's not worth it.
When you do decide and get your camera, I encourage you to read the manual. You'll know more about your camera and enjoy your investment more than most average camera users.
