I have always read and have heard people say, "Don't dress like an American when you are in Europe." Well, I will be going to Paris and London and want to know, what should I wear? Yes, I have jeans and sneakers and T-shirts. How should I change my wardrobe so that I not only look less like and American, but also blend in and not look so much like a tourist? Thanks for your input!

Answer
Bring a sweater and a light weight waterproof jacket too.
Shorts out of season are the clear sign of USA tourist, as are button up shirts in loud colours.

Some people will stand out as tourist whatever they wear, others blend in, without seeming to try.
Take a slightly old day pack, like one you could have used to bring to work or school for a while.
Put your camera in you pack rather than round your neck. (More risk if the bag is stolen but less risk of the camera being stolen as people do not see you wearing it.)
If your clothes are slightly shabby, do not worry, you will fit in better.
Visible belt bags are a tourist thing too, but an under the clothing belt is good.

And look around, see what all the tourists do to make them look like ugly tourists, and do not do the same.

I am one of the lucky ones that seem to blend in wherever I go, even when I wear my camera on my belt and have a belt bag people of the country ask me for local directions.

What is the weather like in florida (Disney area) in March?

I am from England so should i wear hot pants and boob tubes? as it will be hot to me wont it?
is it really rainy in March :-(?

Answer
Daytime temperatures in Florida during late winter/early spring normally average around 75F/24C. Nighttime temps tend to average about 60F/16C. Evening temperatures there are currently warmer than London's current daytime highs. It is humid there, also. It will be considerably warmer than what you are currently used to.

I have no idea what the normal temperature range is for the UK any time of year, so I can't evaluate what you might consider hot. If 24-28C is hot to you, then yes, it will be hot.

When I travel to FL this time of year, I pack shorts (hot pants to you), T-shirts, a swimsuit or two, open sandals, jeans, short-sleeve shirts, athletic shoes, sunglasses, and a waterproof jacket or coat with a hood. And don't forget your camera. ;)

Be prepared for rain, is all I am saying. A good waterproof coat or jacket with hood will serve quite nicely for that. It has rained for me at least once every trip (and I go to FL at least twice per year) - sometimes just showers, sometimes full-blown thunderstorms with heavy rain, and Hurricane Dennis back in '05. (lol) So I always bring a raincoat to FL with me.
