best bridge camera for beginner?

ok so i want to start getting into photography and i think a bridge camera is the place to start? cant afford a DSLR and have a galaxy s3 which isnt much off a compact. so yea... what should i be looking for, my budget is about £100 max really as dont wanna spend loads starting out.. got my eye on the fujifilm finepix s4300... i want to use it for

1. skate photography.. so decent quality
2. skate videos.. needs decent mic and HD quality
3. slow shutter light photography... what do i look for here?
4. day to day bits and pieces?

so yea is it worth getting a bridge or am i wasting money? what should i be looking for and ( UK LINKS/SHOPS ONLY please :) ) as cant buy from anywhere else ... and DSLR is out of the question so please dont compare.

What you need is a DSLR that takes video. The Sony A35 from 2011(?) would be OK if you could find it on EBay. It will take old Minolta autofocus lenses going back to the late 1980's so there'sd an entry path to think about.

Wasting your time? Well, no, if you are into skating and know what shots to take. Many surfers take a waterproof compact into the water and get wonderful action shots that are as good as the pros. Try to get a camera with a minimum 2/3 sensor. Maybe a rugged one like this:
