I am going into the Marines and i need a camera that will withstand all the hell ill be going through. im looking for a tough water resistant camera that can still take good quality pictures..any suggestions?

I have an Pentax Optio W60. Since having a waterproof camera I will never go back. It gives so much more flexibility and no more hiding under an umbrella to take outdoor bad weather sports pictures. then I would recommend to go through shopping advice recommendations and choose the one that has been released recently by either Canon, Sony, Nikon, or Panasonic that carries the best reviews here - http://www.imshopping.com/

Which waterproof digital camera has the least shutter lag?

I've read a lot of reviews for waterproof cameras under $300 and most shutter lag is mostly the complaint. Does anyone have one that has low shutter lag? My budget is $250-$300 and it would have to be waterproof.

Canon D10 or Panasonic TS1 are 2 good waterproof camera that I would recommend. Canon D10 waterproof to 33 feet while TS1 waterproof at 10feet but TS1 can record HD video
