waterproof camera 40 feet image
Roohi
I'm going scuba diving (basic open water course) in December, there's an IT fair in a few days and I want to buy an underwater camera. Which one do you recommend? I have 2 in mind, any comments on these 2 or any other recommendations?
They are: Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT3 and Olympus TOUGH series TG-810
thanks :)
Answer
I really prefer the Panasonic FT3 because of the following features.
Integrated GPS, altimeter and barometer
Waterproof up to 40 feet deep
Freezeproof to 14â° F
Can withstand bangs and bruises up to 6.6 feet
Good performance in low levels of light
Exceptional high quality video capture at 1080p HD
The ability to Zoom in while recording and refocusing

Why does it say up to 10feet waterproof?
Bella
i am getting this camara: Fujifilm FinePix XP10
Why do most camars say waterproof up to ten feet.
Will it break if its past 10 feet?
Answer
It wont nessasarly break. Its because the water pressure on the camera can cause it to start leaking inside, if it does happen then it breaks. They say 10 ft but thats just for legal reasons so if it breaks they wont get sued. So usually it might be 20-40 ft or more.
