Suggestions for HD camera for outdoor activities?

I am a kayaker, but I don't care about waterproof cameras. I would rather have the quality. Here's what I am looking for: a very clear picture that I can record to a DVD, at least 2 hours of shooting, good sound quality. Here is what I don't care about: a significant zoom function, numerous manual controls, a fancy lcd screen, anything over 800 dollars. Thank you.

I'm looking for a digital camera with the following specs:

- 3 or more megapixels
- manual control f-stop/aperture
- f-stop f16 (minimun)
- ISO or shutter speed control
- macro.

I want it to take good detailed photos to products to sell online.
Also if you give me some tips to take great photos I'll appreciate it.

The Olympus Stylis.. it's waterproof up to 10', shock proof (can be dropped) up to 5', very slim and compact, durable and wonderful.

As far as taking good pictures. Practice, practice, practice.
