I'm looking for a waterproof, long battery life camera that streams live footage to my computer. Where could I find something like this for less than a fortune?

The device costs $900. To get a 40-hour battery (the unit at $900 comes with an 8-hour battery) you would have to add another $200. Add to that a service contract, which is necessary to utilize the camera. 6 months of service costs about $500.
All told, that would cost you $1,594 for the camera, battery, and your first six months of service.
Now, imagine if your camera is discovered by an unsavory character. They steal it. You're out all that money. Not worth it, in my opinion.
EDIT: For that price, you could buy a dozen good-quality normal game cameras, memory cards for them, and plenty of batteries. Just to put it in perspective, and all.

im about to purchase a waterproof digital camera and need some help on deciding which to buy! i've narrowed my search down to three cameras. The Canon d10 the Sony tx5 or the Panasonic TS2. Please help! I'm going soon and want to make the best purchase. I want a great reliable camera to take to the beach every week that takes great video, action shots and good battery life!
