I've always thought it was a really cool idea, and lately I've been looking into getting one. I've looked at some from Canon and Olympus. I'm leaning towards Canon's D10 because it gets good reviews, is slightly cheaper than Olympus models, and because I really like Canon cameras.
Anyone that owns this camera or another waterproof camera-
Is it good price considering that it would only get moderate use?
Do you recommend this camera, or another one?
Would I be better off getting a waterproof case for my current camera (a Canon powershot a570)?

What is the best/worst waterproof digital camera?

I'm going on a trip in a few months and want to get a waterproof digital camera to tale snorkeling. I am researching reviews and some sites say one thing on certain cameras and others say the opposite. I thought it would be good to get the opinions of people who own them. Does the camera really stay dry? Does it have a good picture quality? Etc.....if you have a opinion or idea please leave a comment!!
