Is the GE dv1 waterproof video camera able to shoot in 16:9 wide screen format? It says it shoots HD video but can I film videos on it that can be uploaded to YouTube without bars.

it can shoot in 16:9 (1080x1920 pixel) format. but whether you get bars or shutters on your youtube uploads is determined by the editing software you use, not the camera, and the choices you make for publishing.

Hey! I really need a good quality video camera! It should have auto focus and the ability to zoom in and out. It should preferably be under $300.00 I really hope you guys come up with something nice!

Sony Bloggie HD cams are wonderful (touch screen). Less than $100 on Amazon (brand new). I've had one, and will be purchasing another most likley. Zoom too (touch). Free Bloggie software with the cam.
