What kind of digital camera should I get?

I'm just looking for a regular camera. I'm pretty much a teeny-bopper who wants a camera to take facebook pictures with and whatever I think is cool. BUT I want it to work well, look good, and whatever.

What do you reccommend, and if you have a camera that you love, what kind is it? Also, I would like it to be under 300 bucks. I can only work one job.

If I were buying a camera for a teen, it would be one of the Olympus Styls SW series. Why? Because they are waterproof to 10 feet and shockproof to a 5 foot drop. Dropping and drowning are the leading killers of digital cameras so IMO the SW series makes a good choice for an active teen.

The Olympus Stylus 850SW comes in Yellow, Blue, Pink, Silver and Black. It has Face Detection and Digital Image Stabilization and has a "suggested retail price" of $299.99.

Does the sanyo x1250 camera have a waterproof case?

i would like to get a waterproof case so i am able to take underwater pictures and i have the sanyo x1250 in hot pink.
1) are there waterproof cases for this camera?
2) if so then where can you purchase them?

I couldn't find a case specifically for your camera.

I did find a few sites that have "one-size fits all" water proof cases.
