Will getting water on my camera mess it up?

I have a canon PowerShot A650 IS and it is NOT waterproof but I plan on wrapping saran wrap around it so it doesn't get damaged underwater. I don't want to cover the lens so the saran wrap won't block the lens or make it blurry. help please!

Your camera is not waterproof...REPEAT...NOT WATERPROOF!!!

I'm getting my cousin (3) a digital camera for Christmas. Either Fisher Price or Vtech which is the better?

I'm split 50/50 on both. I've read the reviews but I just think I need more advice. Have you used it, did you like one or the other? What didn't you like? Was it worth it?

My cousin is obsessed with electronics and whenever I come over he is always trying to use my digital camera, he's very creative and needs a postive way to express himself, I think this is a good gift for him.

i would always go with the fisher price i got my son the kid tough waterproof and he loves it i got the case for it i think the whole thing with the card was about 100.00 bucks and he cannot destroy this thing i would go with the fisher price name everytime
