Camcorder with microphone input?

I need a waterproof camcorder to make a documentary, but the guy at the store said that no waterproof camcorders have microphone jacks. is this true?
if not which waterproof camcorders have mic inputs? And where can i get them? (In Australia)

while it is possible to seal a mic jack to prevent water from entering the camera, no standard mic jack will prevent water from getting on the contacts. if you plan on ocean swimming, the salt water will short out the mic connection electrically. you will be best off to add your narration afterwards in the computer video editor, and use the built-in camera mic for "natural sound".

I'm going on a trip to Australia with a group called People to People and we are going to The Great Barrier Reef, the rain forest and to a few Native VIllages, so I need a good camera that's cheap and easy to use.

Check the maximum depth each waterproof camera you want to buy. It should match the depth you are planning to dive in to.
