I am looking for something with good zoom capability, takes good pics in low light, has continous shooting at somewhat fast speed, and has good image quality. It doesn't need to be super compact, I am not worried about size. Around 10-12 mp would be nice. I will prob buy from ebay, so price will be under retail, my budget is 300$ max

All told, Canon's PowerShot D10 is a stellar adventure camera. It's more than just a waterproof camera that's only marginally larger than a standard P&S, it's a rugged, lightweight shooter that should suit most everyone but the professionals in attendance. For you all, there's always the $3,000 5D Mark II housing. Priced at around $300 on the streets, we'd say that you'd be hard pressed to find a better bargain considering just how flexible this is. If you've already got a DSLR for your serious shooting, there's no reason the D10 can't be your one and only point-and-shoot companion, regardless of whether you're in or out of the drink. And as for you argonauts -- well, you'd just need a darn good excuse to avoid this.

Can someone help me decide what camera to get?
Andy
I recently got into photography and i was introduced and used the Canon T4i. I was looking up to get my own because it was somebody elses. I want to get the T4i because i feel somewhat familiar with it now. But i was wondering is the T3i a good choice as well seeing its a few hundred dollars cheaper or should i get the T5i which is similar in price to the T4i. Is there a significant difference in these cameras? I also used the Canon 5D mark iii but that is currently out my price range lol. It was awesome though :) Thanks for any tips/advice also any good/reliable places to purchase one of these would be nice as well. Thanks again!

Basically they're all the same, all dSLR's. That covers all brands and models. All are good so you won't have any problem whatever your budget is. A significant difference will only be felt if you have a special requirement like articulated LCD or remote flash firing and your money does not allow you to get the exact model that has those features. Otherwise, you simply pick the most expensive dSLR you can afford and enjoy it.
I know you'll be picking Canon but here's something I'll tease you with anyway - waterproof and sandproof for the times you will want to take better pictures on the beach.

Here's the cheaper non-proof version.
