I was wanting to take some underwater pictures in my creek next summer, it's pretty cold in it- never warmer than 50 degrees. The deepest part is 7 feet, the water is a little murky, but not awful.
A good waterproof camera that won't break easily would be perfect! I was looking at a Nikon Coolpix AW100, but apparently the seal on them is no good...... ? So I'm not sure now..... what would you reccomend?

Answer
Check out the Canon Powershoot D20, shock proof, freez proof...it's a little war machine :D

Which waterproof digital camera has the least shutter lag?

Tina

I've read a lot of reviews for waterproof cameras under $300 and most shutter lag is mostly the complaint. Does anyone have one that has low shutter lag? My budget is $250-$300 and it would have to be waterproof.

Answer
Canon D10 or Panasonic TS1 are 2 good waterproof camera that I would recommend. Canon D10 waterproof to 33 feet while TS1 waterproof at 10feet but TS1 can record HD video
here is Canon D10 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001SER460?ie=UTF8&tag=ad107-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001SER460
