I am 14 years old and looking for a lower-end priced digital camera (around $100-$250). I know that I would prefer a waterproof one, but am unsure of what other options I have on looking for a digital camera. So, two questions: What kinds of options do I have regarding different cameras? And - Do you have any suggestions of cameras for me?

don't listen to the first polaroid is cheap and a good name. You can find them at stores near you really cheap, i did post a link in my source which is a polaroid 9.0 megapixel camera they have over 2000 of them so you can browse this is a good camera and way under $100 dollars.

Well as a cinematographer I have used a lot of cameras but it narrows down to only a few I'd suggest for under $250. First is Somy DCR-SX45, It's about $200. I am
currently using one of theses as a secondary camcorder that I take everywhere instead of taking my Canon XLH1 everywhere.
The second camera I'm gonna suggest is waterproof which is the Kodak Playsport (Zx5), about $159.00. I use this camera when skiing/snowboarding, canoeing/kayaking, swimming, and anytime it is suppose to rain.
