Okay so my boyfriend's mom gave him a waterproof camera and he asked his mom if he could give it to me and she said yes so he gave it to me since he wasn't going to use it cuz he has a better more expensive digital camera. He gave it to me as a Anniversary present since our Anniversary was the 23rd of this month. Is that cheap of him? Or do you think it was still sweet of him because he knew I really wanted a camera?

It all depends on his financial position. If buy you something you wanted would have broken his budget, then fair enough. You got what you wanted and he saved a few bucks.
