I am going on a camping trip at school, and I would like a good camera for this is my graduating year here.

The perfect camera that I want would be:
Waterproof
Captures HD video?
Good Pictures
Easy to use
Price Range: Up to $200-250?

Not only is this digital camcorder waterproof, it also takes still shots. You get the best of both worlds, so the price makes up for it.

i dont like pentax WP-series and i already have the WPi. is there another make, olympus? any others? and how much are they. (in pounds please)

Bushnell makes an outdoors water resistant camera, looks durable yellow or green & black it costs less than the pentax w30 and much less than the Olympus. Otherwise if you plan on going underwater the Olympus is rated for 33 feet about 10 meters! I am also looking - undecided. Pentax is the cheapest so far for waterproof - unfortunately.
