troubles
We are visiting Cancun for first time leaving July 22 staying at the Oasis Cancun. Any tips traveling with a 7 & 12 year old.?Suggestions on activities they might enjoy? Is it safe to drink the water? What about money exchange? First time snorkeling should we bring our own equipment or rent? What about underwater cameras can you rent one or are the disposable ok? Any helpful info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

First, ofcourse the water is safe, just because its mexico doesnt mean anything, second you SHOULDNT leave your kids at a day care, from experince i wouldnt do it if i were you, sometimes the daycares in Cancun are very very unsafe. dont worry about money exchange, they accept American dollars and American Coins, but if you still want to exchange money, in the airport youll find a money exchange section thing, but i advise you two use american money , and underwater cameras are avalible to purchase, yes they are disposable, its just like in the U.S, and you should defentily rent the snorkeling equipment, its cheap and it works hope i helpes, any ques just email me, i have lots of experince
oh and you can also exchange money at the local bank

How well does the waterproof Kodak cameras work?
Nereidofth
I found this: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100381&navAction=jump&navCount=0&id=prod378899# at Walgreens, and I'm going diving soon, so I just wanted to ask, does this camera work pretty well? If not, do any of you have any *cheap* recommendations?

I've used an underwater camera this last summer when my kids and I went to a water park. It wasn't a Kodak brand but it worked pretty well, I took some pictures of the kids underwater it was pretty cool actually. I mean, you're not going to get a LOT of detail with it, but it'll do the job. The one I used had this deal you could put around your wrist so I thought that was neat too so you couldn't use it. Go for it.
