I'm going to the beach for 3 days and staying in a hotel. What should I pack?

Sun Glasses
A beach hat
Waterproof Slippers/flipflops
A camera
A beach towel
A swimsuit
A beach wrap
Shorts and Tees
Frisbee could be fun!
Some snacks and bottle of water
Books if you like to read on the beach
A waterproof pouch for wallet/cellphone.

i just recently got this camera and ive been read all the reviews about it and i came across that when you take it to the beach the lense dont work and the camera wont turn on...and if it is true its there any way it can be avioded?

Answer
The problem with it is the extending lens. Not just this camera, all of them with the same design.
One bit of sand can jam that lens. Actually a build up of dust can, too.

I'd put the camera in before leaving home and not take it out until I was home and certified sand free.
