My friend told me that he wants to take pictures of me and our other friends scuba diving and i really want to know if it's possible?

Diving with camera??

So I'm going to the Great Barrier Reef in a few weeks for scuba diving and snorkeling, and I really want something so that I can take my camera with me snorkeling.
And I can't afford a new camera that happens to work underwater. Mine wasn't cheap, so I would like to take it with me if possible.
I have the Casio Exilim S880, and no underwater housings are made specifically for it. I've found things like this: http://store.thewaterproofstore.com/minicamera.html
but I'm afraid they aren't going to be very effective. Plus, since it's not a Casio product, the warentee wouldn't cover it if something were to happen.
Is there any alternative, or does anybody know of a good case that works with slim digital cameras? Is the link I have a good choice?

I reckon it's your only choice for that camera. Snorkeling on the surface though and that's it. It's up to you to decide if you'd like to trust that at 15 feet. Not me, thanks. Another thing you need to consider is that you're now shooting through a plastic bag, which isn't going to do your images much of a favour. I would opt for a waterproof disposable. You aren't going to get more than 15 feet or so out of it, but at least if something goes wrong, it's a cheaper loss than your digital.
You'd be surprised at how much cameras like the Sea & Sea have come down in price. You can find them at under 300 bucks now for the digitals. Matter of fact, I remember seeing a cheap digital in the local Walmart that was allegedly waterproof . Here ya go, the Vivitar ViviCam VC-5188 Black 5 MP Digital Camera w/ Underwater case

Sixty bucks, 5MP and SD compatible up to 2 gig. Rated to 45 feet. It's an even better option than a disposable because for an extra 14 bucks you can get the 3 year protection/ replacement plan and abuse the heck out of that camera not to mention it's rated deeper than any camera of comparable price or cheaper, that I've seen.
